How it works

One job, from the first email to the money in your bank.

Nine steps, in the order the software does them. The office runs on the web, the field runs on the phone.

Every step is a screen that exists today.

Free to use. 3.9% only when an invoice is paid through the app. iPhone and web today, Android is not launched yet.

The Jobs list
The Inbox

Step 1 · Web

The enquiry lands in your Inbox and becomes a job.

Connect your Gmail. Emails group by job. Create job from email fills in the customer and the work.

The quote builder

Step 2 · Web

The quote gets built by speaking or by typing.

Press Record voice, describe the job, then Autofill with AI. Priced labour and material lines come back, editable.

  • Prices are typical UK trade prices for you to adjust, not a live supplier feed.
The job record

Step 3 · Web

The quote goes out.

The customer gets it by email. No portal to register for, no chat to watch.

The week grid

Step 4 · Web

It goes on the calendar with a name against it.

Drag the job onto the day, drag its edge for length, click the avatar to assign.

  • Staff see only their own jobs, and no job values. That is enforced on the server.

Step 5 · Phone

The record fills itself in on site.

The engineer adds notes and photos from their phone. They land in the office Inbox.

The certificate editor

Step 6 · Phone and web

The certificate gets filled on site.

Talk through the install, or photograph the board and its labels. AI drafts the header, a row per way, the observations.

  • You check every field, correct what it got wrong, then set it complete. Nothing is issued in your name that you have not read.
The invoice builder

Step 7 · Web

The invoice follows the quote.

Mark the job complete and the invoice sends itself, carrying the quote’s amount. Or send it by hand.

  • Automatic sending needs a connected bank, an amount and a customer email. Without those it stays in your hands.
  • Xero, QuickBooks and FreeAgent are the accounting connections we have.

Step 8 · Customer

The customer pays by card without leaving the page.

The pay link opens a plain page with a card field. No account, no password.

  • Paid in cash or by bank transfer, you mark it paid yourself.

Step 9 · Money

The money goes to your bank, and we take 3.9%.

Payments settle into your firm's own bank account. We hold nothing.

Every feature is included for everyone. There are no plans and no tiers.

SPARK

SPARK can do most of that for you, and it always asks first.

Ask it in plain words.

  • It runs as you, with your permissions. It cannot do anything your account cannot.
  • It never starts on its own, and nothing reads your email unless you turn that on.
